Tatiana and Fernando were born and raised in Brownsville, TX and married in 2006. Tatiana graduated from The University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor in Accounting and an Associates Degree in Business Administration. Fernando graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Environmental Design and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Brownsville. . Fernando has been a licensed real estate agent with K.J. Ehlert and Associates and Owner/Principle of The Balli Group - Design / Build. The Balli Group has been highlighted in local magazines, Texas Architect Magazine and on the Zonta’s Tour of Casas Hermosas. The Balli Group has built custom homes wih Brazilian lumber, Wind Turbines and has restored an 80 year old residence. Tatiana and Fernando take pleasure in being engaged in their community as Fernando is on the Board of United Way, PUB-CAP, Moody Clinic, Brownsville Historical Association and Brownsville Historical Committee. Tatiana has been involved with the Brownsville Junior Service League, establishing a children’s financial literacy program entitled Dollars and Cents, was a Chair for the Heart Association and was involved with the FDIC - Money Smart program. Together they have moderated Leadership Brownsville Classes and Co-Chaired United Way’s Fund Campaign. Most importantly, Tatiana and Fernando are enjoying their greatest accomplishments, Iker Fernando, 8 years, and Javier Mikel, 5 year old.
